Waller
Our firm must reflect the diversity of our clients and our community. Our commitment to diversity and inclusion allows us to advance the firm and improves our ability to serve our clients. While we work to recruit diverse talent, we are also focused on the inclusion and retention of all Waller personnel.
Our hiring process is built to reduce the influence of implicit bias. To reduce the influence of implicit bias in entry-level hiring, Waller has narrowed callback interviewers and provided in-depth interview training to each interviewer. In addition, the Executive Recruiting Committee reviews writing samples on a standard rubric and conducts behavioral assessments for each candidate, followed by standardized interview questions evaluating work-style preferences, strengths, and weaknesses.
Our Diverse Mentoring Program helps associates develop professionally and grow as practitioners. Young, diverse attorneys have access to the time and attention of some of the most successful partners in the firm. Waller was recently recognized by Chambers Associate as one of the top law firms in the country for its commitment to supporting diverse associates.
